SHOJI SEKI - 8th Dan AIKIKAI

Seki Senseï was born on March the 6th 1950 at Yamagata (Japan). After being graduated from Musahi School in technological industry, Seki Senseï was admitted in 1973 as assistant instructor at Tokyo aïkikai. Today he has become one of the main instructors.

Tokyo aïkikai, world aikido centre, hosts all year long, aikido practicing people from the entire world.

Taking the responsibility of instruction assistant director, he is one of the closest partners of Master UESHIBA Moriteru, grand sun of aikido founder. Answering to the invitation of Mr Daniel Jean-Pierre, 6th dan aïkikaï, aikido instructor in Nice and in Sophia Antipolis (Côte d'azur), Seki Senseï has been leading a seminar for 20 years in Boulouris near Saint Raphaël (côte d'azur). The rest of the year, in addition to his courses taught at hombu dojo and in others Dojos around Tokyo, Seki Senseï does seminars in the entire world. He regularly goes to the United States, Brazil, Peru, Russia, Poland, Israel, Australia, Indonesia Etc.

Caring omni presently about pedagogy and rigor, Seki Sensei teaches a fundamental aikido respecting the principles and bases created by O SENSEI Morihei UESHIBA. Invited for the first time by Tony Sanchez in 2008 to celebrate de 30th anniversary of the Chateaudun club of aikido, Seki Sensei will do honour us by leading in 2023 a 14th seminar in Châteaudun. This seminar will take place from the 10th to the 12th of February 2023.
